Jeff’s Booth #535

Come and celebrate the 90th Annual Plaza Art Fair in Kansas City!

The Plaza Art Fair was started in 1932 as a promotion to draw shoppers to the area and to lift their spirits. Held on an empty lot on the southwest corner of Nichols Road and Central, where Tiffany & Co. is now, 90 artists displayed their paintings by leaning them against trees and benches. Paintings were priced from $1 to ten dollars.
Artists enjoyed interacting with each other and having conversations with those in the crowd about their work. All agreed it was a successful first-time event and should continue. And continue it has.
The Plaza Art Fair has impressively become a top-ranked, national art event. But, perhaps even more impressively, it continues to be a weekend of people simply celebrating art and each other, as well as Kansas City’s unofficial welcome to the fall season.

Saint Louis Art Fair presented by Centene Charitable Foundation

Website: https://www.saintlouisartfair.com/saint-louis-art-fair/about-us.html

Jeff’s Booth #235

Cultural Festivals was founded in 1994 by a group of passionate art enthusiasts who wanted to breathe life into the cultural landscape of St. Louis. The organization began under the official name "The Saint Louis Art Fair" and aimed to showcase high-end visual art and stimulating live performances. The Art Fair Sourcebook has ranked the our Art Fair in the top ten art fairs and festivals to visit. In 2001, due to the popularity of the live musical performances at the Art Fair, the organization decided to create a second event dedicated specifically to jazz musicians. Thus, the Jazz Fest was born, and with it, a new organization name that better encompassed its growing mission to bring a variety of cultural events to the St. Louis community–Cultural Festivals.
